Position: IBM MDM
Location: Brownswick,NJ
Type:-Contract
Application Developer with knowledge and skills necessary to customize the data model and develop custom services through the use of the Infosphere MDM Server v11.0 workbench.
Must-Haves:
Experience in IBM MDM v11.x,
Experience with DB2.
Experience with Java/J2EE and Unix scripting.
5-7 years of development experience
Experience developing on IBM’s InfoSphere Master Data Management tool. Development in this space is done via RAD (Rational Application Developer)
Plus –
Banking experience
D2D
Build out MDM functionality to include additional data schemas and service extensions for planned updates that include real-time interactions with SOA services via DataPower as defined in the Project Requirements and Design.
Work with BSAs and Tech Leads to deliver designed requirements associated to Master Data Management in EIM.
Development effort include regular interaction with off-shore resources.
Document all development efforts and Unit Test results for playbook transition to our Production Support team.
Work with QA resources to troubleshoot and root cause identified defects during the test phase of the project.
Create and document logical Data Integration (ETL) strategies for data flows between disparate source/ target systems and the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Provide thought leadership, frameworks, and best practices required to deliver effective data governance solutions.
Follow Enterprise Information Management policies and guidelines on Development and Data Quality.
Adhere to bank policies and procedures and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Follow, or in some cases establish, as required, effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.Remain current on risk-related changes that may impact assigned work functions and processes
