Verification of shipment contents to match bill of materials of ordered equipment
o Based on the needs of each facility
o Communication to IT Manager of all equipment received
Implementation of Cisco Meraki equipment ordered
o Unpacking of the equipment to be deployed
o Verification of all parts to match bill of materials ordered
Verification of site readiness for deployment
o Verify shelfing or rack space availability within the data closet
o Verification of necessary wall board and mounting materials are available if needed for implementation
Implementation and connectivity of Cisco Meraki equipment
o Installation of the Meraki 48-port Switch
o Installation of the Meraki Security Appliance
o Installation of the Meraki Access Points as required for each facility
o Connectivity of all cables and connections based on the documentation provided by the Client’s IT Manager.
o Power on and POST of each component installed
o Verification of connectivity with Client''s IT Administrator while remaining on site as needed
Documentation of any and all installed equipment for each facility
o Knowledge transfer as needed for each facility
- Services Completion sign-off documentation for each facility
Here is an overview and the locations where the installation services need to take place.
- Install Cisco Meraki switch, access point and security appliance. Only need to install the equipment on a shelf in a data closet, plug existing network cables into the switches and security appliance, replace an existing access point with new model, power on, work with company IT admin in order to verify access, no configuration services needed. We’re assuming about 2 to 2-1/2 hours per site with some travel time in between sites. First two will give us an idea of timing, then “cookie cutter” from there for the remaining sites.
