My client is currently seeking Business Analysts to work within the above mentioned projects to assist with delivering key initiatives within the Windows 10 Program of work.
Mandatory Skills:
Resources delivering in the Application Readiness – Analysis & Remediation scope of work must have proven experience in requirements gathering and testing for application readiness, preferably with experience in application packaging.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Define and execute delivery of requirements to analyze packaged applications and determine remediation plans for application readiness for Windows 10
Elicite underlying business need to be addressed and information related to the product and project requirements
Organise, specify and model the requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous
Document the requirements in a format that can be shared with stakeholders
Ensure the requirements map to the real business need, are approved by all relevant stakeholders, and meet essential quality standards
Provide clear direction to the project member where ambiguity exists, and resolve issues, risks and cross project dependencies/conflicts
Develop test plan and test cases
Assist with testing activities
Engage with stakeholders as directed
Conform with the [client] Charter, Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations
An overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development
Job Summary:
Gathers business requirements, conducts needs assessments, and develops functional specifications to ensure that developed information technology solutions support business objectives.
Job Duties:
Serves as a liaison between development teams and the internal/external customer or end user. Follows an established requirements gathering process to identify requirements. Communicates requirements to the development teams through the use of specifications, statements of work, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Coordinates with developers, quality assurance teams, and users to test processes and ensure functionality and user acceptance. May develop user documentation or training materials.
Experience and Education:
Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
Typically requires a Bachelor''s degree and 2 to 4 years of experience.
Reports to: Typically reports to a department head or manager.
