Job Title: Network Security Analyst
Job Location: Totowa, New Jersey
Project Duration: 6+ Months
Mode of Interview: Phone & Face to Face
Interview Process is 30 minutes-1-hour phone screen then in person. Need is ASAP. Phone interview times are 8 and 8:30 am Thursday''s and any time in the morning on Fridays. Monday to Wednesday would have to be 8 am for phone interviews.
Must Have:
Must be proficient in managing and remediating Windows network vulnerabilities.
Excellent Excel skills.
Ability to work with external vendors on issues.
NESSUS and WSUS experience.
Network Security Analyst
As a Network Security Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and remediating Windows Network vulnerabilities. With over 350 servers, you will work on a team to reduce the amount of network vulnerabilities by identifying, logging and researching how to clean them up and get them out!
Responsibilities:
1. Work to identify vulnerabilities via NESSUS reports
2. Log them into an Excel spreadsheet
3. Investigated the issues
4. Work with third party vendors as necessary to address errors or false positives
Skills and Experience:
1. 3+ years of network security experience
2. Windows security: Java, Office etc.
3. Knowledge/exposure to Linux and Unix servers is a plus
4. Expert in Excel, WSUS
5. NESUSS experience
6. Experience working with security vendors
