RS Transformation – Service Integrator II Job Description
Description:
A service integration analyst II will create well written, high performing APIs and Micro services. They will efficiently implement reusable, maintainable and testable software while ensuring that all services meet functionality and quality requirements. Aside from building new APIs an integration analyst II will also design new interfaces for existing APIs and efficiently manage all the enterprise API through a well-documented service catalog.
Key Responsibilities:
Adopt industry standard ways to unleash the value of enterprise information, reducing the friction of integration and enabling speed and agility
Reviews, understand and communicates the inputs and outputs typically required for the services being provided by clearly documenting specifications required for the services
Translates the integration requirements into use case specifications and communicates the specifications to the development teams, service delivery teams or service providers.
Works with the development teams or service providers through the development and testing phases to ensure the specifications are understood and standards are followed.
Reviews and provides input into test plans and may assist with the execution of test plans.
Monitors features implemented in production and publish metric around service usage and performance.
Works with the business and ADAs to understand data gaps and to determine whether the data can be provided and consumed.
Unleash information anywhere with API led connectivity. Turn existing legacy assets into modular building blocks that can be quickly assembled into new capabilities.
Skills:
Required
Experienced developing APIs using MULE
Experience working with Cloud Hub platform
Good understanding of API lead architecture
Experience building micro-services
Technical expertise in a broad range of application development tools and techniques. Programming languages like Java, Spring, and REST/SOAP, RAML specifications, SQL / PLSQL. Good understanding of TCP/IP; firewall management; and Cloud infrastructure
Preferred
Financial Services industry experience
Experience working on an agile project team and agile methodologies
Experience:
4-6 years’ experience in Software Development or related fields
3+ years’ experience in service integration
