Position: MongoDB Architect
Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Duration: 12 Months
· Minimum 3 years’ experience as a MongoDB architect
· Experience with MongoDB 3.6.x
· Certification in MongoDB is preferred – C100DEV Certified Developer
· Demonstrate experience in design and implementation of Enterprise-to-Enterprise Operational Data Store using MongoDB
· Demonstrate experience with design and implementation of BI solutions using data visualization tools such as IBM Cognos, Tableau, and PowerBI
· Proven experience in optimizing performance for many types of workloads for data ingestion (real-time, and batch) as well as for consumption (APIs, data visualization) in a highly-available multi-site clustered MongoDB implementation
· Demonstrate previous security work Identity and Access Management, data encryption (at rest and in transit) and auditing.
· Demonstrate design and implementation of ETL and data ingestion patterns into a high-availability multi-site MongoDB cluster for multiple real-time high-volume data sources.
· Demonstrate data architecture with shredding and partitioning – in particular, having worked with inserts into shredded collections, and load-balancing on a MongoDB cluster.
· Demonstrate experience working with Azure Data Factory
· Demonstrate experience working in an Agile environment
· Demonstrate experience mentoring junior DBAs/MongoDB administrators
· Strong communication skills with both technical and business users.
· Ability to solve complex analytical problems independently and in a group, and prioritize work based on business values
· Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly as needed
