Administration
Minimum of 5 years experience of database development and administration experience
Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra,
Add-on Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL
Expertise in Designing, Implementing and managing highly available, replication/replicas
Expertise in Design and manage security management, data integrity, recovery, performance tuning and troubleshooting skills (System & Databases)
Experience with automation tools such as Chef/Puppet/Jenkins and Automate routine tasks with your own scripts and open-source tools
Experience maintaining database performance by monitoring space, CPU usage, fragmentation of data, and by tuning queries, scheduling jobs, setting alerts, etc.
Application
Experience of modeling/architectural patterns, governance methodologies, and potential limitations with/in MongoDB
Design and develop automated test cases that verify solution feasibility and interoperability, to include performance assessments.
Solid understanding of methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations.
Lead the data architecture design and review processes, including planning and monitoring efforts, reviewing deliverables, and communicating to management.
API model/framework to consume data from and/or push data into MongoDB (or similar technology)
Ability to work with varied forms of data infrastructure, including relational databases, Map-reduce/Hadoop, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Kafka, Akka, Spark and SQL databases.
Expertise in one or more of the programming languages such as Python, Scala & Java etc
Experience in of XML (e.g., DTDs, XSDs, XSLT etc , Messaging systems, Reusable Rest API, REST Web Services and SQL and building Microservices
Experience specific to MEAN stack (NodeJS, MongoDB, JavaScript, Express, AngularJS)
