Mobility Professional Services Engineer
On behalf of our client, Procom Services is currently looking for a Mobility Professional Services Engineer in the Plano, TX area for a 3 month contract.
Mobility Professional Services Engineer Main Duties:
* The Professional Services Engineer position will work at our client''s site in Walnut Creek, California.
* Mobility enhanced packet core technologist will provide technical on-site training, implementation, and testing services
* Use your technical and business acumen, as well as hands-on testing experience, to drive Professional Service offerings through all phases of the service engagement (discovery, definition, development, delivery and debrief)
* Demonstrate your leadership as you share your knowledge with other technical staff in 4G/5G EPC and IMS, test strategies and methodologies, test tool usage, and test plan development and execution
* Use your excellent customer focused skills to perform onsite auditing, test case development, and analysis of validation scenarios for companies growing customer base
* Collaborate with customers and companies sales teams to determine testing and business requirements that can be translated into a statement of work and formal proposal
* Work closely and collaboratively with telecommunications industry test experts and company personnel, including the Global Services team, Product Managers and Engineers
* Challenge yourself to learn and remain highly technically proficient on relevant company platforms; Landslide, VisionWorks, Lifecycle Service Assurance products
* This position requires a good combination of technical and business acumen and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
* Keep stakeholders informed of actions and progress on test cases and technical issues
* Respond promptly to internal and customer inquiries either in person or via telephone, online networks, and email
Mobility Professional Services Engineer Must Haves
* 4 years+ technical knowledge and experience with the Mobile Evolved Packet Core (EPC)
* Experience supporting and working with wireless operators and network equipment manufacture accounts; e.g., Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, Cisco, Samsung, Ericsson
* Experience with LTE and IMS functional elements and technologies
* Understanding of existing and future 4G/LTE and 5G network architectures
* Knowledge of wireless packet core technology such as: AAA, DRA, PCRF, HSS, PGW, SGW, MME, SGSN, GGSN, Home Agent, WAP Gateway, DPI Solutions and Billing systems
* Knowledge of data networking and wireless protocols such as: PPP, IPv4, IPv6, Proxy Mobile IP, GTP, S6a, S1-AP, Radius, SIP, Diameter
* Test Tool usage experience in conjunction with some of the above environments; especially using Client''s Landslide tool
* Self-motivated and solution-oriented, with a track record for completing projects on time
* Excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills
