Job Title: Mobile Project Manager

Description:

Strong IT project management tasks, managing project to completion and managing the process of definition and development of detailed requirements. Expertise to manage a technical team. The Project Manager is responsible for successful completion of all phases of the project life cycle.

Develop, establish and maintain project management standards and procedures and is responsible for defining project guidelines, obtaining business and information technology sponsor approvals, and coordinating resources necessary to successfully complete the project within scope, budget, and schedule. This position leads the refinement of requirements, development of plans and schedules, and estimation and project maintenance.

Position will entail managing and delivery of mobile projects. Project Manager will provide excellent communications and service to stakeholders, internal and external resources, and provide process guidance to ensure project success. Assists in driving closure on more complex, non-routine service requests and activities with limited to moderate risk. Oversees service providers in research, analysis, design, creation and implementation of application changes to meet current and future user requirements.

Works across departments and suppliers in the development of multi-year technology roadmaps and resolution of issues. Ensures Service Providers achieve contracted service delivery outcomes. Monitors multiple releases by Service Provider to successful completion, maintaining scope and quality within the time and budget constraints.

Requirements:

Work experience in Mobile Development Project Management best practices
Strong attention to detail, coordination, and communication skills
Experience with varied technologies to include SOAP Web Services, Java (J2EE) application and Spring Framework, SMS Messaging and Standards (XSD, XML, XSLT), HTML5, RDMS, SAML, Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) Framework and Agile Development
Experience with Mobile applications. Technology leadership experience in a sourced environment managing multiple 3rd party suppliers simultaneously
8-10 years’ experience in information technology application development and support
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Must have hands on experience with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Server, and project scheduling
Must be well versed in Schedule Management
