Prior experience designing and launching commercially available iOS and Android mobile apps is necessary.


Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:

Partner with Product Managers and Engineering throughout the design process – from creating user flows and wireframes to developing interaction patterns. Deliver final design assets and functional specifications.
Contribute to the development process by balancing design requirements with technical limitations
Identify user needs and produce designs based on users’ motivations and behaviors – understand and apply human-centered design strategies
Contribute to interaction standards and a pattern library to drive streamlined design solutions that support customer needs and business objectives
Design and lead user research, including usability tests to measure user reaction and use of products
Gather and leverage data analysis, market research, and competitive analysis to define design strategy and create an environment of continuous improvement.
Rapidly explore and present multiple concepts & design variations. Effectively and convincingly prepare and present design recommendations
Take a holistic approach to interaction design across the site, taking advantage of opportunities to apply similar workflows and components in multiple places.

The ideal candidate also has experience in health care, insurance, financial or other transactional business process design. Assignments are very broad in nature and of high complexity.

This person must have extensive experience working closely with other members of a UX design team, Product/Business teams and Software Development teams to create and refine the User Experience for responsive web and mobile offerings.

Ability to strongly influence cross-functional teams to elicit department/partner alignment to achieve strategic objectives

Fluency with user interface patterns especially, mobile UI trends

Ability to manage multiple tasks in various states of completion, across entire digital portfolio.

Experience supporting multiple scrum teams in an agile environment and the flexibility to participate in the evolution of our agile implementation.
