eDataForce Consulting LLC, a leader in IT staffing and staff augmentation services, seeks a “Sr. Mobile Developer” for our preferred client in their Washington, D.C. location.
KEY SKILLS:
Engineer two mobile applications solutions
Serve as development lead mobile app development efforts
Develop Cross-platform Apps for IOS and Android devices
Integrate graphical mockups into mobile app
Perform maintenance on existing mobile apps
Required Experience: Xcode / Cocoa / Objective C, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Common Cross-platform tools and IDEs (i.e. Phone Gap), Git. Intel XDK/CISCO EMXP experience preferred
Need to have experience in placing mobile applications into Production including managing the marketplace requirements for itunes and Play
Responsibilities
Work with software architects, product managers, and implementation teams to develop and maintain features in our mobile application products
Write elegant, maintainable, reusable code for mobile devices (phone and tablets) that communicate to Java-based server solutions via RESTful web services
Work with writers and other team members on code documentation, technical approaches, system integrations, and software developer kits (SDK)
Assist third-party developers using our SDKs to integrate with other systems
Interact directly, both on-site and off-site, with customers’ technical and project management teams in a professional and cooperative manner
Participate in product testing and feedback as required
We are looking for a Level 2 to 3 developer. This is not a management or lead position.
Skills & Knowledge
3+ years hands-on work experience developing applications for the Android or iOS platform
3+ years hands-on experience developing with server-side Java
Experience developing geospatial mobile applications using Google Maps or an equivalent GIS component
Solid understanding of the Android and / or iOS platform, including detailed knowledge of location services, NFC / Beam, Bluetooth, WIFI Direct, local storage, and encryption
Experience with UI development for the Android and / or iOS platform, including custom interfaces and component development
Additional desired technical skills: Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML / CSS
Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
