Position Description This is going to be a direct hire between 60-65K and the fee will be based on the agreed upon yearly salary We are currently looking for a mobile developer to be a part of our growing Mobile Team. If you are bright, driven, enjoy working with the latest technology and have the right blend of business acumen, are technically savvy and love a good challenge, then this opportunity is for you. This position is seeking a talented developer who has mobile development experience using React Native and/or similar hybrid or native experience and can fully develop a mobile app both frontend and backend when given mockups. The developer will also be helping the team architect and develop end-to-end solutions for the Mobile & IoT projects that will be serverless and service oriented. Developers are also responsible for end to end development, from server configuration, API creation/consumption, mobile dev, testing, and updates to the platform, software, and app. Should be able to communicate clearly with stakeholders, staff, IT colleagues, and others to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend quality solutions.
Skills Required Bachelor''s degree in Computer Technology or related field AND two (2) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Six (6) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months experience. *Working Environment • Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse (75%); frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work (25%) • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds • Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts. • Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see and hear to perform essential functions. Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals. This position receives regular review of objectives.
Skills Preferred
Experience Required • Be the primary developer on mobile application projects and be willing to learn new languages/technologies in the mobile development space • Develop and architect backend solutions using AWS with a service-oriented architecture • Understand and provide guidance for all security protocols and mechanisms involved with cloud development • Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, as required in support of current and new projects • Work on all phases of a project: development, testing, qa remediation, production support, etc. • Communicate with team regarding status updates • Support architectural and development guidelines and best practices • Fix bugs and identify areas for improvement
Experience Preferred • Experience in delivering the full software development life cycle • Experience in optimizing and coming up with the best possible serverless solution • Experience in learning new technologies and concepts quickly • Experience in AWS, Firebase, App Engine • Experience in Splunk, GTM/GA, New Relic • Demonstrated knowledge of mobile security and mobile accessibility • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies • Experience in at least one of the following and demonstrated knowledge with the rest: Java, Objective-C, C++, Swift • Experience in architecting end to end solutions • Experience in managing enterprise software solutions to minimize downtime and maximize user experience • Experience in owning all aspects of projects • Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills. • Experience in Version control • Experience in UI Skills
