Job Summary:-
Middleware External Authentication support team handles identity and authentication technologies that provide services such as Single Sign-On (SSO), third party authentication for revenue transactions, etc. to all client and external users. We also support expanded services with Federation capabilities for External users in DMZ. In addition, the team also supports IIS & JBoss. Specific supported technologies include CA SSO (SiteMinder Large amount of work focused around DMZ, authentication of external users. We work regularly and closely with NVS, A&T and CyberSecurity.
Job Functions:
Incident Management, Engineering, Design, Guidance & Technology Strategy along with direction input to eBusiness and related projects.
Provide support to application teams on authentication related issues (authentication, security practices, design, etc
Address security issues on our DMZ servers, troubleshoot various issues related to middleware technologies, external authentication
Support authentication matters for systems and services like SharePoint Extranet, Aqcualogic/Portal, OCS, ACE, among the most critical.
Position Specific required Skills : ( minimum 5 yrs. of experience)
Demonstrated experience working with CA SSO / Ping identity and authentication technologies
Intermediate-to-advanced understanding of infrastructure processes and practices.
Advanced experience with web & application servers like IIS, Apache, JBoss, Websphere
Advanced understanding of computing concepts (e.g., webservers, databases, scripting, operating systems, computer hardware components, virtualization)
Motivated to learn and leverage new technologies and tools
Great analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Process oriented
Windows general knowledge and support
Prior Infrastructure or Applications experience
Prior Experience in Network, DNS, Web Applications, Server or Client groups, DNS, Networking, AD, SQL
Advanced understanding of authentication protocols
Advanced understanding of SSL certificates (https)
Clear understanding of DMZ concepts
Preferable knowledge & experience in DevOps / Agile practices
Intermediate understanding of Cybersecurity
Linux general knowledge and basic support.
