Job Description :
Roles & Responsibilities

· Install and configure Middleware and fixes on Linux/Windows

· Deploy and upgrade Middleware components

· Monitor production environment, participate in production problem calls, and resolve any problems related to Middleware

· Create MQ objects like Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners etc.

· Implement Distributed Queuing on various platforms.

· Tuning Middleware components to optimize performance.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues minimizing the application impact.

· Configuration of new Queue in all environments

· Perform Daily & Weekly tasks as prescribed by team.

· Move message between servers

· Creating and deleting the queues on request

· Stopping/ Starting message flows on Message Broker Tool Kit

· Monitor non-production environment, participate in production problem calls, and resolve any problems related to Middleware.

· Ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to the organizations use of the software applications

· Advanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentations

· Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)

· Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required

· Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams



Skillset:

Experience in Production support of IBM MQ, Shell/ Perl scripting
Experience working on Application and Server monitoring as well as Ticketing tools
Able to work on both Windows and UNIX platforms.
Experience working on Application and Server monitoring as well as Ticketing tools.
Should possess a sound understanding of the business
Good Communication Skills with management, development teams and vendor’s.
Experience in ITIL methodology
Experience in weblogic, Worpress, IIS, Apache & other webserver administration is added advantage.
