Description:
Strong experience with installation, upgrade and configuration of solutions like Tomcat, WebSphere, WebLogic and JBoss
Ability to interpret Java errors in log files and provide suggestions to application teams
Knowledge of system administration
Comfortable with scripting and Linux commands.
Comfortable with Java threading and memory concepts
Working knowledge of chef and experience working with knife commands preferred.
Prior experience of handling product environments and ensuring service availability preferred.
Should be able to participate in severity resolution calls and orchestrate as required.
Awareness of usage and high level configuration of tools like newrelic , splunk , overops preferred.
Responsibilities:
Interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation,
High level design artifacts
Also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty
Additional Information:
Shift Timings: Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday shifts for the pacific time 9 AM to 6 PM
Contractor must be flexible to work on weekends. Week-offs would be Sun & Mon OR Fri & Sat
