They like someone with API Gateway or ESB experience. That said, they will take a strong developer who has worked in a DevOps role. Candidates will do 75% development (Integration) and 25% deployment/operations support.
The role is within the Intelligence Hub organization, building out interoperability and enterprise technology solutions. This job leverages both deployment automation and software development skills. Creating product integrations in cloud and container-based platform solutions. The engineer will collaborate with the business and technology management to ensure that product roadmap, initiatives and goals are accomplished, through the delivery of high quality releases.
Key Skills Development
7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, development, implementing and application integration experience with a minimum of 3+ years in middleware technology with Enterprise Service Bus (Mulesoft, Tibco ESB, JBoss Fuse etc.
Hands-on experience in designing, development, implementing and supporting solutions on ESB middleware products (Mulesoft, Tibco ESB, JBoss Fuse etc.
Develop/design enterprise service bus platform and application deployment.
Develop/design enterprise APIs and shared technology solutions.
Develop integration software deployment automation scripts.
Develop/design web service API and proxy best practices, documentation, educational material and reusable components.
Developer with strong REST and SOAP web services with ability to work with integration applications.
Experience with SOAP and REST Web Services.
Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages (Java/JEE and .NET)
Good exposure to API Gateway Apigee
Experience with creation of web services and integrate them in workflows
Deployment/Operations
Container-based solutions management (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation (Ansible, TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus)
Strong Linux and bash scripting experience or any PHP/Drupal experience.
Experience developing/deploying applications within Amazon Web Services environment – AWS (EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch)
Experience with API gateway technologies (Apigee, Kong)
