Job Summary :


The HR (Workday) System Administrator will function as the system “owner” and resident expert at our company to optimize the use of Workday HCM throughout the organization. This position will ensure the integrity, accuracy and proper use of information in the system and be responsible for system configuration, security administration and business process design. The right candidate must be able to cope with conflicting points of view, function under pressure, and demonstrate discretion, integrity, fair-mindedness, and have a persuasive, friendly personality. You must show the character and responsibility of dealing with sensitive employee information. This field demands skills that people may have developed elsewhere teaching , supervising, and volunteering, among others.


Essential Job Functions:

You will be responsible for Workday HRMS system including troubleshooting, enhancement of configuration and new configuration
Create iService tickets to track all problems , Backfill/BA team will resolve problems based off tickets submitted
Support routine requests for technical support and will serve as a lead for reporting and administration of these tool systems.
Compile and maintain personnel records
Drive the functionality of the Workday system: facilitate discussions to understand business and information needs of HR, payroll and management, and make recommendations about how the system can best meet those needs.
Analyze and recommend enhancements to business processes and other aspects of system configuration to streamline HR and payroll operations and optimize efficiency while ensuring data integrity.
Coordinate with functional and technical staff, lead system-related projects and initiatives (such as new releases, adoption and implementation of new functionality, and business process configuration changes) in HR and payroll, including planning, implementation, review, and testing prior to go-live.
Support Workday users in HR and payroll by troubleshooting problems, answering questions, creating and/or modifying reports, and assisting in the creation of documentation as needed.
Manage Workday related contracts, contracted resources, invoice activity and budget.
Assist in the development of training plans to help end-users, especially in HR and payroll, carry out role-based and user-based responsibilities in the system.
Create documentation for new processes and update existing documentation based on enhancements made to existing processes and tools.


Requirements :

Must have 3-5 years Workday configuration experience working in different Workday environments.
Experience collecting and responding to business requirements.
Candidates should have a good understanding of HR systems,
Excellent level Microsoft Office , specifically MS Excel skills for reporting and analytics.
Ability to work well with individuals and a commitment to organizational goals.
Exceptional project management, problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary.



Preferred :

Familiarity with Kenexa and SuccessFactors is a plus, but not an imperative.
Prefer consultants in Cincinnati or the regional area
Must have HCM, Security, Business Process configuration and troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge of computer systems, storage and retrieval software.
