Candidate would be working on UGC related initiatives 70-80% of the time, primarily BazaarVoice.

Excellent communicator and collaborators, willing and open to take advice from many teams across that have implemented UGC initiatives,
Support the Frontend interface to the 3rd party UGC providers (ex. BazaarVoice)
Support the shared library that presents the standard interface between our backend services and the 3rd party UGC provider(s
Facilitate the program wide adoption of standard interfaces to UGC services.
Design/Implement appropriate level of abstraction to UGC services such that we avoid unnecessary coupling.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
Partner with UGC Program Manager and work with Product Owners & Product Design from various Lines of Business (LOBs) to scope and support execution for UGC opportunities
Be the integral knowledge owner for front end & back end development and work closely with teams across the Co-op on designing operational efficiencies, executing clean implementations, and recommending improvements for cross-product alignment
Work with and be the technical lead with third-party UGC vendors such as BazaarVoice, Power Reviews, and/or Curalate to address any technical issues or strategies
Contribute towards internal documentation including, but not limited to, the following items: Product requirements Technical specifications (front end code, back end feed management, implementation guides, cross-product best practices)Software documentation Unit test plans
Work with QA to manage proper implementations, set performance assumptions, and communicate changes for optimal performance
Set a new standard for UGC ideas and technologies and corresponding documentation, and be a part of leading projects from end-to-end in partnership with various teams across the co-op
Write high-performance, reusable code for backend components in Java and work with Front end UI components in JavaScript (Vue and Riot experience is highly preferred)
Work on complex problems and be able to obtain results or solutions through in-depth analysis and superior troubleshooting skills
Work within Agile methodologies to collaborate, define and build the given projects
Front end UI components in JavaScript (Vue and Riot experience is highly preferred), Some Java & JSP experience with back-end services
