Job Description :
Primary Responsibilities:
Developer with excellent coding skills in JAVA
Design and Develop Software using JAVA and Spring Framework technologies
Mentor and cross train other associates in distributed technologies – Java and Spring Framework
Build, test and deliver 12 Factor compliant Cloud Ready application and deploy them in AWS
Define and ensure compliance to standards and best practices for development including change management, release management, & source code control
Embrace and promote principles of Agile development, Continuous Integration/Delivery, and DevOps
Participate effectively in team meetings in a wide variety of roles ranging from facilitator, to requestor, to solutions coordinator, to consultant
Fosters teamwork and spirit of collaboration and commitment within the project team
Education and Experience:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 5 years industry experience in a software engineering capacity
At least 2 years of Spring Framework experience
Experience with SQL and stored procedures. Oracle database preferred
Experience with the following technologies: Spring, myBatis, REST/Web Services, and Eclipse Platform
Experience with UNIX (Linux preferred)
Experience in building 12 Factor Cloud Ready apps
Experience in CI/CD
Experience in developing test automation
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work closely with teammates to solve problems, transfer knowledge, and develop overall product architecture.
