Requirement: Microstrategy Report Development
Boston/Springfield, MA
Contract Position
Prefer candidate to sit in Springfield full time.
Willing to let candidates sit in Boston but must come to Springfield 2 to 3 days per week.
Duties:
Develop specifications of extremely complex software programming applications.
Responsible for components of an application or the overall operating system or complex sub-systems, such as sophisticated file management routines, large telecommunications networks, and administrative and statistical software packages, performance evaluation and enhancements.
Perform related duties as assigned or requested. Receives general supervision and is competent to work at the highest level of all technical phases of software programming while working on own most of the time.
May act as Project Leader.
Skills:
Will be working on a project for Financial reporting and operational reporting that involves rich visuals and user-friendly & intuitive UI design
Experience with MicroStrategy report development. MicroStrategy tool experience from both UI Design as well as mapping back-end schema layer to the target database.
Good understanding of the underlying data-model and Dimensional Modeling design techniques.
Most import skill set to have is MicroStrategy report development & deployment
