Microsoft POWER BI Lead
Gainesville, FL or Warren, NJ or Raleigh, NC (Flexible Location)
6 months plus contract
Must have LinkedIn Profile
4-6 years of experience in technical design and development of dashboard/reports using Microsoft POWER BI suite
In-depth experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Suite in each of the following core technologies:
Microsoft Power BI Service
Microsoft Power BI Desktop
Expert level knowledge of T-SQL language
SQL Server Analysis Services (Optional but preferred)
SQL Server Reporting Services (Optional but preferred)
Exposure to creating custom visualizations
PowerBI Decision Making: Should have idea of implementing the appropriate custom visuals based on the relevancy and need of the requirements.
Experienced in creating DAX expressions
Expert creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc. and data models as required.
Experience in PowerBI Admin Activities
Should have knowledge about gateway server – setup and maintenance
Adding DBs to Gateway
Direct vs Import Options – Scheduling Imports.
Hands-on experience with Linux and scripting languages
Expertise in RDBMS databases (at least 1 Experience in Teradata is added advantage
Excellent SQL skills and understanding of OLAP/ETL tools
Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 developers
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
