Microsoft Exchange Engineer

Candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card Holders
Top 3 Skill Sets:
1) Office 365 experience with mail, skype, one drive
2) Active Directory experience – knowledge in basic/advanced level concepts of how Active Directory and Exchange interface
3) Script Automation experience – PowerShell preferred, Visual Basis is fine
Must be engineer, not admin.
Design, implement, maintain and support Microsoft Exchange Online environment and other O365 affiliated services Manage an Exchange based messaging system in a hybrid configuration.
Ensure uninterrupted electronic communications with applications and users.
Quickly troubleshoots incidents, determines the root cause, and finds and implements solution
Create and manage mail encryption rules
Configure and manage email Security threat protection and spam tools
Research and recommend emerging technologies to enhance the messaging infrastructure
Develop PowerShell Scripts to enable automation for reports, configuration and monitoring of the email environment
Establish and perform to O365 best practices
Perform periodic administrative maintenance on the O365 tenant services
Perform product testing and integration testing as needed
Participate in on-call rotation and provide afterhours support.
Open, track, and report on Microsoft Premier tickets.
Requirements
Bachelor''s degree and 8 years of Information Technology experience or High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of Information Technology Experience
7 years of experience supporting messaging and mail security platforms
5 years of email platform design
5 years of experience with messaging/Security gateways, specifically Proof Point and Exchange Online Protection
3 years of experience supporting AD services
2 years of O365 platform experience
2 years of experience with secure computing environments and the ability to maintain such environments
2 years of experience developing technical strategy as well as write, communicate, facilitate, and present to all levels of IT, internal staff and management
