Microsoft .NET Architect
Duration: 6 months
Location: Houston, TX
Skills:
Architecture-Knowledge of various Architecture patterns
Microsoft Visual StudioNET, WPF
Visual Studio .NET-C#
Functional Design Documents-Ability to design based on functional requirements
Must have experience working in Agile / Sprint - 2-3 week projects
Financial systems knowledge-Financial services / Trading / Commodities, Platform / framework development experience
Requirements:
Architect Level consultant with the below skills / experience
A software development background with a proven record of delivering .NET solutions within defined timeframes
Proficiency reading and expressing software architecture through traditional UML documentation (Class, Activity, Entity Relation Diagrams, etc
Proficiency querying and designing basic application schemas with relational database management systems (SQL Server preferred, DB2, Oracle, Others ACID databases accepted)
Solid exposure in the back-end C#, WCF, SignalR, and ASP.NET
Solid exposure with Client-side applications technologies including C#, WPF, MVVM frameworks (Prism, MVVMLight)
Proficiency in the following: NET Framework, QA & Testing procedures,
Proficiency with W3C standard web application scripting languages and interchanges (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, XML, and JavaScript frameworks)
Proficiency with web service development and utilization (WCF preferred)
Experience with Microsoft development IDE and ecology of tools (Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, SharePoint, etc
Experience with Agile or iterative development SDLC practices
Relevant Microsoft certifications
Financial Services commodities domain experience preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in Client side development
Deliverables:
Process Flows
Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
Participate in data conversion and data maintenance
Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
Participate as a team member of the functional team
Perform other duties as assigned.
Acceptance Criteria:
Strong coding skills, should be able to work with client and HCC architects, Work with minimal supervision, proactive and highly communicative.
