Job Description:
The person should have minimum 5 to 7 year experience in Microfocus enterprise admin and able to handle the setting up server and upgrade the patches, also working in Windows platforms is advantages.
# Microfocus Enterprise Server Administration
- Create different ES regions (test bed) when needed
- Start/Stop Server for maintenance
- Configure/develop start/stop process (Manual/Scripts)
- Perform Maintenance like Spool Maintenance, Log file maintenance, any trace/core dump file maintenance
# Configuration for performance
- Set up Server for optimal performance
- Set up Server Execution Pages and other settings that can impact performance
# CICS administration
- maintenance of CICS resources as and when needed
- Support CICS set up in Test regions too
# Active Directory security in Microfocus ES
- Maintenance of security rules from ES security option or by Scripts in command prompt.
# Also cable of installing different API and interface with other applications, FTP and other means. Also having experience in setting up the database connection and other utilities related to my microfocus utility and other complies dialects settings.
Also worked with the DB2 LUW database along with microfocus enterprise admin will be a plus.
