Job Description :
Position: Metavance Batch
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6+ months Contract

Job Description:
MTV Batch support and trouble shooting
On a weekly, rotational basis, 24 x 7 Production support
Develop install plans and release manage MTV patch and eFix upgrades in our Dev Environments
Trouble shoot install issues/failures in release managed (including Production) environments
Analyze technical documentation to determine impact and changes needed to internally developed custom jobs.
Design Batch flows to optimize Production runtime – develop Visio flows and lead walk thru’s with cross-functional teams so that they understand changes
Collect data, analyze and document performance (runtime) issues
Develop custom jobs that provide business functionality to supplement MTV
Identify and document MTV Batch defects – work with vendor to supply supporting documentation/data
Support both Production and pre-prod environments-work with testers to identify potential batch failures before they get to Production
Create and document technical solutions and workaround for Batch failures-all resolutions are documented in KDB

Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written communication and verbal skills, as well as strong listening skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Perform in an effective and timely manner all tasks required
Ability to lead production triage calls with multiple organizations
Exhibit above average critical thinking by clearly defining problems, analyzing data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
Ability to logically trouble shoot software issues to determine the root cause and present suggested workarounds and solutions
Candidates familiar with health care/insurance industry are a plus
Candidates with a background in performance analysis/testing are a plus
Self-motivated, detail oriented and organized
