Following your discussion with Gowri this morning regarding the opportunity with Sandmarc client, Seattle, WA, I am sharing the JD for the following;
2-4 years of experience in manual testing web application
Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation.
Good knowledge and experience with SQL and data testing
Write and execute test plans to ensure full testing coverage
Recognizes issues (e.g. with requirements, design, implementation, etc and works with appropriate resources to address and resolve
Comprehends and contributes to high level requirements and designs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Will be involved in the planning, monitoring and control of the testing activities and tasks.
Once the Test Plan is approved, execute tests, track and communicate the results.
Need to collaborate, help each other, and jump in on any task that needs doing.
Understand business needs, and provide system options/process recommendations to support the request.
Enjoy problem solving and the challenge of finding system issues.
Develop manual test cases and test scenarios that provide thorough coverage of implemented features, configuration changes and other change requests
Perform Functional, Integration, Cross-Browser and Regression tests in Alpha, Beta and Production Environments
Perform non-functional requirements testing like usability, performance and scalability
