Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Leads the architectural design, implementation, and sustainability efforts of Fidelis Care New York’s network, telecommunications, and video conferencing systems; responsible for ensuring that all communications are delivered on a scalable, secure, and highly resilient infrastructure; leads a team of network, voice, and video conferencing engineers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Create technology and capability roadmaps that align with organizational needs; ensure that all systems are appropriately maintained and in a supported state; promote HIPAA compliance through a set of well thought out and maintained configuration management policies and processes.
Develop business case justifications and cost-benefit analysis for technology based initiatives; identify and allocate resources to accomplish objectives; work with the Plan’s Project Management Office and Release Management teams in coordinating resources to ensure timelines are met; approve project milestones; provide summary reports as needed.
Lead incident management and root-cause analysis processes; oversee the development and maintenance of disaster recovery documentation, processes, and capabilities.
Work with vendors to satisfy short-term business initiatives and long-term strategic decisions; manage vendors through formalized service level agreements; perform contract review and edits to ensure project solution needs are met; optimize costs through effective negotiations.

Educational and Experience Requirements

Work Related Experience:

Three to five years Management experience preferred three of which should be in a Call Center environment.
10 or more years of professional Network management experience working in a medium to enterprise environment.
Five to eight years work in related field required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Access; Lotus Notes.
Skilled with experience in Avaya telephony and Cisco Networking.
Skilled in system design, with a strong demonstration of understanding.
Business Analysis Knowledge: Skilled to work in a fast paced environment.
Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Customer Service: Skilled to communicate with all levels of Management, internal and external customers.
Ability to work well as a member of a team or independently.
Effective Business Communication: Skilled in communicating with technical and business constituencies in writing effective business specifications and requirements.

Education, License, and Certification Requirements

CCNA or other CCNP certification preferred.
BA/BS - Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred.
