Role: Manager 1 Cloud Services
Location: Raleigh, NC/ Any other Conduent location is also fine.
Type: Full Time/Permanent
Purpose:
Defines project/system requirements and test plans that satisfy client requirements. Develops process flows, operating procedures, and metrics for process improvement, and assists with related communications. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, and escalates to management as needed. Develops working relationships with clients, third party vendors, and /or ancillary service providers and other internal parties to ensure seamless delivery on specific tasks, special projects and/or participant issues.
Scope: Conduent is searching for Cloud Resources Manager.
Overall Min 9+ yrs. of experience in IT with Min. 3+ Yrs. of experience in Azure Administration. Candidate should have Azure Administration in any one of IAAS / PAAS / SAAS.
Should be experienced and knowledgeable in areas Computer Networking such as Subnet, Routing and seven layer OSI model.
Should have experience in Storage account/management.
Should be able to perform cost based ROI analysis for websites, virtual machines, storage, cloud services, backup, and data management within Azure platform.
Should have experience in creating systems logical view, network diagram etc. Knowledge of power shell and json scripting. Excellent communication and team handling skills.

Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
Requires in-depth knowledge and experience
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from manager
Generally domestic accountability
Primary Responsibilities:
Azure Cloud expertise, Familiarity with VSTS, TFS
Ability Restart/bounce the Azure components/clusters/VMs
Create and manage swap space on deployed cloud system per customer policies
In support of the deployed cloud systems and environments, create custom scripts to automate support processes where applicable
Ability to Power off/ Down the un-used VM''s
Ability to identify issue at Azure level and resolve. If needed escalate to Microsoft and coordinate with them
Deploy Azure API management services to multiple Azure Regions
Manage Azure subscription and profiles
PowerShell and Unix Shell scripting will be added advantage
Hands on experience on Creating Resource Group, vNet, Load Balancers, Virtual Machines, Attaching Storage Disks would be added advantage
Architectural exposure to Windows or Unix, Hyper-V, SAN, NAS and other technologies would be added advantage
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Knowledge of Server Operating Systems (Windows or Unix) and Virtualization Platforms (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V, etc will be added advantage
May perform one or more of the following:
Organizes leads and facilitates cross-functional projects.
Identifies and manages resources, including cross-functional employees, to successfully execute projects.
Works with senior management to align projects to strategy.
Communicates team progress to all levels in the organization.
Performs cost and benefit analyses.
Analyzes, plans and implements process improvement (such as Six Sigma initiative) needs.
Produces new process improvement techniques and services.
Develops metrics that provide data for process management and indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Measures performance against process requirements, aligning improvement projects to close performance shortfalls.
