Responsibilities:
Work independently and in a team environment to complete needed jobs. May lead a project team or initiative
Work with clients to understand and translate their needs into IT system requirements and solutions.
Providing data analysis to support, compile and report key information.
Performing and participating in the analysis, process flow and implementation of application interfaces and touchpoints.
Work with internal groups and outside vendors to ensure successful and a quality project completion.
Mapping software Interfaces to functions.
Analyzing and interpreting data to identify software process flows.
Communicating analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience.
Understands distributed applications, middleware, databases and data models.
Experience providing input for application process flow to software testers.
Ability to reconcile problems including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data.
Advanced knowledge of business processes analysis, business workflow and process improvement recommendations.
Provide advanced analysis and strong written and verbal communications with management, staff and contractors
Take ownership of issues and work closely with various teams to develop resolutions
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree and 8+ years experience in technology project management processes, methodologies and tools, implementing various platform environments, and Networks, Firewalls, mainframe and midrange systems or other directly related experience.
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Experience in requirements documentation mainframe applications.
Expertise in mainframe development and practices
Ability to query and extract information from mainframe systems in support of business and process analysis.
Working knowledge of technical project management methodologies, processes, and tools
Knowledge of scope management, scheduling and resource management.
Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, and Midrange systems.
Experience working with both Batch and Realtime software systems
General technical knowledge of networks, distributed and mainframe platforms, and associated development environments
Experience with Java, WebSphere, Middleware and SOA is a plus, but not required
Experience tracking software interfaces and validating the upstream and downstream touchpoints.
