Position: Mainframe programmer w/ CICS
Location: Onsite in Columbia MO preferred, but remote will be considered.
Duration: 12 months
Skill’s: Skills overview: CICS systems mainframe programmer: Can independently install and upgrade CICS running on z/OS, using currently supported versions. Strong SMPE and MVS skills Can independently install and upgrade commonly used CICS products Can independently build & configure CICS subsystem environments on z/OS (incl. CICSPlex) Can independently support problem determination efforts (prime & off-shift) involving CICS & related software Can independently manage day to day CICS system admin requests (e.g. CICS security, CICS Healthchecking utilities, etc Can independently execute CICS system level recoveries (local and in support of Disaster Recovery) Provide CICS System Support for a large CICS client. Upgrade and maintain CICS and a variety of CICS vendor products individually. Perform CICS system parameter, and table changes. Monitor and manage CICS environment. Resolve CICS System related incidents
