Job Description :
The location is preferably NJ or Chicago…as the SME will have to travel between these 2 locations and possibly more based on other opportunities.
Solution Architect (Legacy Modernization)
Key Technologies – Mainframe, COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, Java, familiarity with Assembler and AS400/RPG is preferred
Strong experience in Solution Design for Legacy Modernization (Taking applications off mainframe to newer platforms like Java / Cloud etc)
Strong Experience in Mainframe Program Analysis and reverse engineering
Experience in migration of mainframe applications
Exposure and understanding of distributed systems
Excellent Communication skills
Exposure to Middleware/Integration technologies is preferable
