Description of specific Duties for this position:

Manages and administers CA Panvalet and CA Endeavor and other mainframe
SCM tools

in the development, test, staging and production environments, and
provides support services to internal and external users in the
mainframe environments.

Defines, applies concepts and implements
hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures,
such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate
those scripts with the hardware and software build process.

Develops software version control processes, policies and procedures and
ensures that they are followed on software development projects
Supports configuration & change management activities across
multiple groups, with an emphasis on CM policies, procedures, processes
and documentation.

Trains all users and other CM personnel in the use and administration of
mainframe tools.
Attends Technical Review Board (TRB), Change Control Board (CCB) and
other meetings related to configuration management functional area
serving as an advisor.

For all software to be released, assists
in the making and maintenance of appropriate Version Description
Documents (VDDs) and coordinates turnovers and cutovers working with
quality management, production and development groups.
Attends and conducts all meetings related to configuration management
functional area.

Position Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in configuration and change
Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on, admin-level experience with CA
Panvalet and CA Endeavor in a mainframe environment.

Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on experience implementing,
documenting and maintaining software builds and configuration management

Proven ability to work independently and as a collaborative teammate.
Knowledge of version controlling source code in mainframe.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to build consensus
and agreement and bring resolution to contentious issues and entrenched

Attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities and handle
multiple projects concurrently.
Extensive Microsoft office experience using Word, Excel, VISIO, Power
Point and SharePoint.

Nice to Have:

Working experience in cloud environment
Mainframe programming and database skills
Experience working in Federal Government projects
Technical writing experience and training experience

This is a full time position paying a base salary, full benefits, and
