Greetings,
I have a very challenging Mainframe RACF Security Consultant role.
Interview Mode – Direct round 1 IN-Person IV only, so LOCALS or nearby cands only.
100% Onsite work only
JOB OVERVIEW
Responsibilities:
Defining new z/OS, UNIX system security resources within RACF as required for protection of system software and application development systems.
Creating new security groups as required to access new security resources in RACF.
Adding new user/system ids to RACF.
Performing periodic reviews of dataset/resource access rights to determine if they remain appropriate.
Troubleshooting errors/access violations.
Managing digital certificates in RACF.
Work with Vanguard mainframe security products, including VCM, Admin, Advisor, and Analyzer.
Work with IBM z/Secure administration.
Monitoring current tools to ensure compliance is maintained with latest versions. Coordinating upgrades as needed.
Reviewing/maintaining/creating batch jcl for security related job streams.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Proficient in TSO, JCL, Z/OS System Utilities
Minimum 5 years RACF experience
Experience in Large z/OS mainframe environments
Solid knowledge of UNIX (OMVS)
Knowledge of Vanguard Security and IBM's Z-Secure and CARLA products
