Job Title : Mainframe Programmer/ Support Analyst
Work Location : Dodgeville, WI
Contract : Permanent Job

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in information systems, computer science or related field
10+ years of experience in an IBM mainframe environment in the retail industry
Recent experience with Order Management Systems and/or Warehouse Management Systems
Knowledge of the following business functions: Returns, Customer Acquisitions, Order Fulfillment, Order Management
Must have a strong work history with multiple clients
Strong programming and analysis skills in: COBOL, CICS, VSAM, SQL, DB2, JCL and MQ
Experience with the following mainframe tools: XPEDITER (batch and on-line), SPUFI, Platinum, File-AID, Abend-AID, Endevor and TSO/ISPF
Roles and responsibility:
Provide application development for key strategic projects with minimal supervision
Ability to work independently under strict deadlines
Develop code according to department standards, unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
Research and resolve testing issues in a timely manner, both batch and on-line
Communicate in a clear and concise manner at the appropriate audience level
Assess and recommend improvements to systems based on business and technical analysis
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
Knowledge of e-commerce
Experience with API (Application Program Interfaces) commands is highly desired
Experience with ServiceNow
Experience with MOVEit or other file transfer protocols
Experience with DataStage and Talend or other ETL tools
Experience with SAS or Easytrieve Plus
Familiarity with Document Direct, $AVRS
Familiarity with test practices and deliverables
Familiarity with UAC (aka OPSWISE) job scheduler or other schedulers
Familiarity with JAVA
Familiarity with ITIL
