Job Description :
7+ years of information technology experience and responsibility developing, analyzing, and maintaining mainframe applications.
· Demonstrated proficiency with zOS COBOL, including JCL, IMS, DB2 (working knowledge
· Significant experience in analyzing COBOL code using mainframe analytical tools.
· Experience in documenting systems procedures, updating and revising technical documentation.
· Experience in migrating data from mainframe legacy system to modern database systems like Oracle or SQL server, and application code to client / server and distributed / web based / service oriented solutions.
· Demonstrated critical thinking skills, along with ability to accurately analyze information.
· Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate with other team members, including developers, business system analysts, project managers and architects.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Takes initiative and accountability for achieving results
Must Haves:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent job experience.
· Previous experience in mainframe source code analytics is a must (either using a tool or related analytics experience)
· Is proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
· Previous experience in Financial Services technology areas is desired.
