Job Description :
Mandatory Technical Skills
6+ years of software developement in Mainframe technologies ( JCL, COBOL, VSAM, CA7 Scheduler)
2+ years Teradata development experience
Must have expertise in the use of SQL/HQL/NoSQL
Good experience with Mapreduce, Hive, Spark, Sqoop, Kafka, Presto, Impala.
Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning
Strong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration, ETL and MPP Architecture.
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing & BI Concepts.
Experience writing shell scripts using (ksh, bash, perl or python
Experience with Pivotal Greenplum , SAP Hana, , DB2 is desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Desirable Technical Skills
Need to bring in Thought Leadership and be Innovative.
Need to Keep Pace with latest trends and technologies in Analytics and Visualization area.
Mandatory Functional Skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems
