Job Description :
Role: Mainframe Engineer
Location: Bentonville, AR
Mandatory Technical Skills:
6+ years of software development in Mainframe technologies (JCL, COBOL, VSAM, CA7 Scheduler)
2+ years Teradata development experience
Must have expertise in the use of SQL/HQL/NoSQL
Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning
Strong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration, ETL and MPP Architecture.
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing & BI Concepts.
Experience writing shell scripts using (ksh, bash, perl or python
Experience with Pivotal Teradata, DB2 is desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills."
Desirable Technical Skills :
"• Nice to experience with Mapreduce, Hive, Spark, Sqoop, Kafka, Or (Presto, Impala)
Need to Keep Pace with latest trends and technologies in Analytics and Visualization area."
