Job Description :
Position: Mainframe Developer w/ IMS
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Duration: 12 months (long term)
These roles are with our direct client in support of their Customer Service System (CSS CSS is based on the COBOL programming language, hosted on an IBM z/Series mainframe, and built on IBM’s IMS database and CICS transaction server. The position will also support the mapping and migration of data from the IMS database to a relational database application.
Skill’s: Skills Required:
- 5+ years Mainframe development/ support experience.
- Must have experience with the following, Cobol, CICS and JCL TSO and CA Endevor experience is highly desired IBM z/series mainframe experience Experience working with Microsoft Office Products.
- Must have Strong Communication Skills (verbal & written)
Nice to Have:
- JCL, TSO and CA Endevor experience is highly desired.
