JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Design, estimate, develop, document and coordinate the implementation of multiple projects/solutions across several business areas that satisfy the business requirements of aligned application development requests within the allocated time and budget. Ensure all aspects of a project plan are followed and documented. Provide ownership and administration for several projects

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned. A teammate in this position must have the ability to:
* Manage multiple projects and multiple assignments associated with those projects.
* Define the source and solution to problems quickly and independently within multiple environments and business areas.
* Consult with users to ensure the following: Client methodology is followed, requirements and design deliverables match the design specifications, test plans fit the requirements and test results correspond to test plans
* Develop and test solutions using the client development tools and meet the client standards.
* Create implementation documentation; coordinate the implementation and post-implementation activities.
* Coordinate and validate the system-testing process and the user acceptance testing process.
* Maintain accurate information in the project tracking system.
* Work independently and communicate with other project team members.
* Support aligned applications.
* Organize and manage a project which includes: management of day-to-day activities, management of project team scope, regular status meetings, resource requests, assignment of individual responsibilities, review the status reports, address issues, creation and execution of project work plans, tracking team hours, management of project budget, application of client s methodology and enforcement of project standards, review of deliverables and completion / storage of project documents.
* Understand client s capabilities in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
* Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies.
* Comply with and help enforce standard policies and procedures.
* Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
* Prepare for quality assurance procedures and manage the change process.
* Minimize client s exposure and risk on project.
* Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
* Manage a team which includes: challenging team members to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor, identifying opportunities for improvement, making constructive suggestions, aligning project tasks with career interests, acknowledging contributions, motivating team work, and mitigating team conflict.
* Manage day-to-day client interactions which include: expectation setting, relationship management, effective communications and evaluation of alternative solutions, seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, and building a knowledge base of each client''s business, organization and objectives.
* Seek and participate in development opportunities.
* Train other teammates and clients through both formal and informal training programs.
* Continuously learn new tools and environments and acquire new skills to maintain and enhance job performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Mainframe:
* Technical skills - IBM Mainframe, MVS/TSO COBOL DB2/Stored Procedures, JCL, ORACLE PL/SQL
* Tools: SCLM, SPUFI, PL/SQL developer, MS Project
* Bachelor s degree or equivalent, related experience.
* At least 8+ years of related experience in information technology.
* Ability to work independently and with other team members.
* Proficient history of successful project management (or related experience) with 3+ years of experience in application project management.
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
