Job Description :
1. This opening is for a mainframe developer with strong COBOL, DB2, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and IMS DB/DC skills.
2. Application knowledge of Claims processing systems and experience with Agile would be a bonus.
3. This position is responsible for participating as a team member in the analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for the development of new systems, enhancements to existing systems, and production support for systems with low to moderate complexity.
4. Requires good organizational skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, good time management skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks as directed.
5. Typically requires 0-2 years of programming experience as outlined above. Skills may include (but not limited to): COBOL/COBOL II, DB2, IMS DB/DC, CICS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, SAS, APS, Assembler, VISIO, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic, PeopleSoft.
