12 MONTH CONTRACT
DESCRIPTION:
*Shortlisted candidate will be phone screened by the hiring manager and will be expected to be onsite at our Horsham, PA office for face-to-face interview. No exceptions.
*The candidates will report into our Horsham, PA office and expected to be onsite full time.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
* Analyze JCL and COBOL/CICS programs to understand
dependencies, making sure the files flow correctly from one job to another
* Understand logical batch sequencing and document
the flow across programs using Visio
* Build and modify JCL at the job step level to
support both batch and online snapshot requirements
* Execute the batch claim stream and electronic
claim stream to process and validate test data and capture snapshots
* Research, troubleshoot / resolve abends and other
issues encountered during the batch stream execution process
* Innovate and create workarounds as applicable to
keep the delivery on time
REQUIRED SKILLS:
* Experience with claim processing systems in the
health insurance industry
* Strong experience with JCL, SQL, DB2, FILE-AID,
QMF, SPUFI, Cobol, MVS, VSAM, TSO, ISPF, CICS
* Experience with various mainframe file and data
manipulation tools such as Syncsort, Fileaid for VSAM
* Experience with Visio
* Proven communication and documentation skills is a
must
* Fast learner with ability to work independently
within a quickly changing environment with strict deadlines
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong troubleshooting analysis skills
