Job Description
:
Our client is looking for an experience Mainframe Architect, who has experience transforming Mainframe Applications to newer platforms.
Ideal candidate will have strong Mainframe side Architecture / Design experience and proven experience porting mainframe applications to newer platforms, including Cloud technology.
A minimum of 8+ years’ experience in Mainframe IMS, JCL, COBOL, VSAM and DB2 skills
· Experience on OPC & TWS schedulers, SORT and IBM Utilities,
· Hands on Debugging experience is needed.
Experience on IBM zOS
Production support experience will be a plus
Working experience of web services (TIBCO knowledge with preferred)
Excellent knowledge of SFTP and FTPS
In-depth knowledge and hands-on technical skills, with strong leadership, development management and communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively within IT, various vendors, and business teams to develop solutions that meet technology standards and business needs is required
Familiarity of newer technology platforms such as Cloud technologies
Ability to drive technology roadmap for various transformation project
