Primary Skills:
Mainframe DB2,MF programming language, implementation of information systems or networks
Secondary Skills:
client/server, web-based technologies,ClearQuest, ReqPro
Roles & Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, implements, supports, and optimizes architecture strategy
Effectively use Design standards, methods and tools and ensure it meets Highmark standards
Effectively use appropriate tools, models and interfaces in Highmark IT for design and development
Document functional and non functional requirements in detail
Effectively Translate specifications into detailed solutions for implementation
Ensure the solution considers quality and service management aspects post implementations
Effectively contribute in Improving existing process, standards by evaluating new tools, process changes, industry trends.
Work on solutioning for Complex projects cutting across multiple business units.
Experience and Exposure Required:
8 -10 years of experence in Software development lifecycle, Applicaiton Programming
5 - 7 years of experience in Architecture
Expereince in planning, analysis, design, testing, construction of organization or enterprise-wide set of Applicaitons
4 years experience in writing technical specifications such as design documents, position papers and status reports
knowledge of various technologies including legacy, client/server, or web-based technologies, rational tools knowledge (ClearQuest, ReqPro, etc and RUP methodology
Knowledge in Databases DB2, IMS, Oracle, SQL
Extensive expereience in application build, deploy, and release process
Extensive knowledge on Mainframe applicaiton development
Experience with Mainframe Tools Endevor, SPUFI, IBM Rational
