Job Description :
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer for a long term project in Clarendon, VA.
Responsibilities & Expectations:
Lead and develop software products that help us build and run machine learning applications.
Directly and independently work with business partners and other tech teams. Independently make decisions for the organization and the program.
Lead other engineers to develop high-quality products.
Design and implement application frameworks, APIs, libraries and services that perform at scale using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Design and develop automation workflows, conduct reviews to make sure the team’s software is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance, and assess the overall quality of delivered components.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, which are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaboration with customers, vendors, and other engineering teams.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
At least 8 years of experience in one of the following development languages: Java, Python, Golang, or JavaScript
At least 5 years of experience with Linux
At least 3 years of experience developing applications using Agile principles
At least 2 years of experience in developing software products for cloud infrastructure
At least 2 years of experience using one of the following big data or streaming platforms: Kafka, Spark, MongoDB, or Cassandra
At least 2 years of experience in CI/CD practices
At least 2 years of experience in DevOps practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in STEM
10+ years of combined development experience in Java/Python/Golang/JavaScript
2+ years of experience with containers (e.g.: Docker)
1+ years of experience with serverless application development
