9+ years relevant as MS SQL DBA
SQL Server Administration experience required
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools
Good to have Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Good to have Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
Good to have Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory
Hands on experience in migration of data from DB2 database on Mainframe to MS SQL Server
Hands- on experience on DB creation, SQL, PL/ SQL programming and Documentation
Strong knowledge of views, joins, Indexes, explain Plan
Develop/ maintain code and relevant documents. Sense of business criticality and priorities.
Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of code, and designing solutions.
