Also ideally looking for a candidate strong on both the technical side as well as strong reporting experience*

Job Title:
The Senior Specialist in Enterprise Applications is expected to function independently with minimal guidance. This role is responsible for the installation, set-up, configuration and maintenance of internal IT applications and services, with specific focus on D365/Dynamics AX.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate the implementation and support of Dynamics 365 modules.
Work with functional teams to understand and gather requirements, to design, configure and test core Dynamics 365 modules.
Work with functional and technical teams to understand and gather requirements to design, develop and test modifications and extensions to Microsoft Dynamics 365, when out the box functionality is not sufficient.

Use of Dynamics 365 development and reporting tools to design, develop and test customizations and integrations.
Perform data conversions into Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Create and modify Dynamics 365 reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and PowerBI.
Create requested documentation supporting system design, development and testing.

Provide as needed project support for troubleshooting and remediation of technical issues.
Experience in Microsoft SharePoint, SQL Reporting & Analysis Services, ALM tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server, ERP application such as MS Dynamics AX, and BI tools such as Jet Reports.
Manage the process of internal data integrations, utilizing data staging techniques, ensuring that applications correctly transfer data (both automated and manual processes

Act as the point of escalation within the team to troubleshoot and correct issues and problems that cannot be resolved by Associates & Specialists.
Review industry best practices and provide suggestions for improvements in processes, procedures and system enhancements/upgrades to help improve the business functionality of internal applications and services.
Actively monitor the Service Manager system, assign end-user requests and respond in a timely manner to requests to troubleshoot issues with internal applications and services.

Actively monitor alerts and reports via Microsoft SCOM and proactively review and respond to issues in a timely manner, ensuring continued functionality of global applications and systems.
Document processes, procedures and customizations ensuring clarity of instruction for team members use.

Works with manager in completing own annual goal setting and performance review in a timely manner.
Proactively communicates with upper management to provide updates and report issues in a timely manner.
Participate in ad-hoc IT Operations related projects or assignments, as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have a baccalaureate degree in a technical field (computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information systems, etc from an accredited U.S. college or university, or equivalent foreign institution.
Must have a minimum of five years relevant work experience.
