MS Dynamics AX Technical Developer

Required:
The technical developer provides technical leadership and subject matter expertise for MS Dynamics AX modules to a specific client. The consultant works directly with an account manager, other functional and technical consultants, client business owners, and client end users to effectively support the clients Dynamics AX needs. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in MS Dynamics AX 2012 Financials module(s) and with AX 365.
Duties & responsibilities
The specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Contribute to the technical set-up of Dynamics AX 2012;
2. Provide technical support for multi-tiered applications
3. Responsible for administration and overall environment in a multi-instance AX environment;
4. Monitor the batch processing schedule and troubleshoot and resolve any failed processes;
5. Identify slow processes and performance tune slow running processes;
6. Engage with functional resources to articulate the solution design;
7. Set-up and maintain application integration between Dynamics AX 2012 and third party applications;
8. Develop and execute test scripts to test system changes, hot fixes, and upgrades;
9. Provide post go-live support for all assigned Dynamics AX module(s); and
10. Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements/Technical Skills:
Qualifications (experience, skills and competencies)
Experience with MS Dynamics AX Payroll is required;
Knowledge of MS Dynamics AX 2012 with technical skills of SQL Server 2012, SSRS, AOT, and Windows Servers;
Knowledge of and experience with writing technical requirements based on functional design;
Ability to design and deploy business intelligence solutions: reports, dashboards, and Key Performance Indicator (KPIs);
Experience with deploying MS Dynamics AX hot fixes and updates;
Knowledge of and experience with MS Dynamics AX Application Integration Framework (AIF)
Knowledge and hands-on experience with DIXF
Experience in configuring / debugging workflow related requests / issues.
Knowledge of and experience with MS Dynamics AX Batch scheduling, monitoring, and maintenance;
Experience with handling jobs and queries in AOT;
Programming experience with one or more of the following:
o X++ development
o .NET programming
o SSRS development
o SSIS Development
o SQL Server 2012
