Duration: 6+ months
Good to have Knowledge:
· At least 8+ years of development and integration experience in AX is required.
· Experience in AX 3.0 or 4.0 will be added advantage.
· Experience in AX Manufacturing and T&L with two full lifecycle implementation with end customer will be added advantage.
· Integration experience with SQL to 3rd party warehouse management system (Manhattan warehouse management system or High Jump) will be added advantage.
· Basic SQL knowledge is required.
· Basic functional knowledge Manufacturing and T&L will be added advantage.
AX developer experience:
· Review, walkthrough, and design analysis of business functionality, technical feasibility and gaps, set the estimates for the development.
· Customizing Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP system using X++ and SQL languages.
· Error handling, Transaction data control in integration using X++
· Good to have knowledge on posting classes in AX 4.0. Manufacturing and T&L
· Creating new data types, base enumerators, Tables, Maps, x++ Queries, Views, SQL Queries and Stored producers to perform successful DB actions for the system.
· New Forms, X++ classes, Jobs, Menus, Menu items and web services for user interaction with the AX ERP application.
· Developed of new interfaces between Microsoft Dynamics AX, SQL Server, BizTalk server and High Jump warehouse management system using Run Base Batch framework in AX.
· Development Synchronize and synchronized services with other software systems like EDI and Labels for the shipment management
· X++ code promotion between DEV, TEST and PROB environment by shared projects.
· Ensuring development quality by following the developer guidelines document.
· Participating in data migration discussions and provide required scripts for the business users.
· The configuration of Security: Roles, Duties, Privileges, Process cycles, and Extensible data security policies.
· Performance testing such as system integration testing, performance testing & e2e testing both AX and other integrated applications like the SQL and high jump.
· Monitor system performance and advise any necessary system changes. Work closely with multiple teams and business partners to collect requirements and provide optimal solutions.
