Required Skills:
Responsible to analyze, initiate, design, execute and control the tabular data models using SSAS including the generation of reports using Power BI & Reporting services.
Experience across entire Microsoft BI suite of products including SQL Server 2016/2014/2012/2008R2, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDS, MDX, DAX, PowerPivot and Power BI from prototyping to deployment.
Modify existing software, database and data models to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Confer with systems analysts, Business analytics, programmers and others to design data models and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Analyze user needs and software/database requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
Design, develop and modify software/database systems, using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Analysis services to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
Consult with customers about software system/ Data model design and maintenance.
Supervise the work of Business analytics programmers, technologists and technicians, and other engineering and scientific personnel.
Coordinate software system installation, Database maintenance and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
