1. Role Objective
Lead team’s effort to design, build and configure reports.
Writing Complex SQL queries, stored procedures, optimizing queries.
SME in SSRS, SSIS, Azure
Act as the offshore-onshore primary technical point of contact.
Knowledge on TFS code management and Deployment planning
Provide project estimation/ projection/ risk mitigation/ etc.
Guide and assist team with requirements and delivery the project on time with quality.
Co-ordinate with onsite teams, support teams, QA, stakeholders and other technical teams for timely delivery of the project.
Take proactive part in assisting Lead/ Manager in team related activities, training, etc.
Groom new members/ fresher’s in MSBI.
Assist and coordinate testing activities, reviews and fixes.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
Area of responsibility/ Candidate Profile
Writing Complex SQL queries, building ETL packages, stored procedures, optimizing queries.
Experience in SSIS, SSRS, Azure
Oversee designs and conduct reviews.
Perform routine audits, tracking, analysis, and monitoring, reporting status of the project technically and good stake holder management.
Coordinating with users and the developers/testers and to make sure that the issue/problem is resolved within the Service level agreement and exceeds user’s expectations.
Hands-on ability to perform all phases of ETL processes including job scheduling and enterprise processing scheduling.
Be Flexible and work on Shifts if the project demands.
Experience/ knowledge in using TFS (Team Foundation Server) for project tracking, reporting and code management a plus.
Experience in SSAS is desirable.
Experience with Microsoft Visual C# and Visual Basic scripting options in SSIS a plus but not mandatory.
DWH Concept, T-SQL and MS-Office (Design, Deployment , Release Management)
Basic knowledge on Cognos reporting, AWS, PDW a plus.
Knowledge of other MS technologies a plus.

Education:
BE / B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
Related Subject/ certifications added advantage.
Experience:
At least 6 years Relevant Experience in Business Intelligence development projects with at least 2 years of managing BI development projects.
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Tableau, Azure.
DWH Concept, T-SQL and MS-Office (Design, Deployment , Release Management)
Basic knowledge on Cognos reporting, AWS.
Experience in BFSI domain preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management.
